What Do I Think Of My Journalism Class...

Well, in the first meeting, i was so nervous and keep asking who is the teacher, and they will actually say 'Sir. Gerano', the name is unfamiliar to me and i thought to myself its a new teacher. But then when Sir Gerano steps inside the room, bringing his laptop with him, i was totally shocked, i don't know why but at first i was totally scared. So I kept quiet in my seat, looking straight to him to understand his lectures at all time.

Well, in the first few meetings, we are so updated in news, as he told us that he will give us a everyday quiz in current events, and so we updated everything and know what is happening in our surroundings, as at first we are not that fully interested in current events. Because of Mr. Gerano, we are now this person that keep on updating current events, that we also have some spear time to listen in the current events.

When few days, weeks, months had past, I totally enjoyed his subject, well sometimes a little bit nervous, cause we don’t know what will happen in his class but I actually enjoyed it if I get used to it.

Well now a days, we are going to the HS AV Room or sometimes in the MDFT if there is a vacant schedule. We are having games, current events quiz and more fun and learning's there.

Mr. Gerano doesn't like to teach us in a boring way, he likes to have fun more so that the students will not get bored during his class.

He REALLY doesn't like is when someone will yawn in his class or not paying attention

and or not reading the book in advance,
he will totally get mad, he will not accept you in class and will teach you a lesson.

He's requirements in his class that we should bring everyday are whiteboard, whiteboard marker, journalism book, notebook, so we should bring these things during his class. Well, if you don't have these, sorry ka nalang..

He gave us assignments such as making our own blog that serve as his reference for giving us points.

Today, I saw an old man sitting by himself in the in the movies... my friend and i just kept staring because he was hooked up to a breathing tool but he was smiling and laughing at the movie the smurfs... when he finally realized we were staring at him he turned to us and said,"It's okay to stare, i know you don't see this everyday. You see when i had children a long time ago this was their favorite show, i used to watch it with them every saturday morning. it was great. Untill one day my beautiful wife Celia and my three children got into a car accident and died. i never got to say good-bye. so, when i heard of this movie from my niece, i needed to see it. You see i may be an old dinosaur but i still have a huge heart."
